I went to the rallies in front of gate 2.5 last Monday and today. Honestly, it was because my parents had to pick me up late and we ended up joining the commotion, but I'm glad I went there. It really feels overwhelming when I look at those other people at the rally and see how passionate they are about their convictions.

There were a lot more people last Monday (the first four pics) because the rally was right after the mass at the Gesu. Added to that, Lozada was apparently going to Ateneo to give a speech. So my parents and I were at the rally, and I got hungry so my mom and I went to buy food at Jollibee. When we got out of Jollibee, we were surprised to see the front of gate 2.5 completely deserted. Apparently, everyone ran back inside to the Gesu cos that was where Lozada went, so my parents and I went to the Gesu as well. The place was packed! Lozada talked about Rizal a lot (apparently he's a Rizalista), and he was even able to make a lot of jokes despite saying that he was so tired. Anyway, the program didn't last long, and after singing "Bayan Ko", the crowd finally dispersed.

Today, we ended up joining the noise barrage cos I came from an ACOMM talk that ended at 6pm (the time when the rally started). There were less people, but it was a lot noisier cos of all the pots and pans and whistles. Haha. Amazingly, during the rally, Lozada actually passed by! I think he was on his way to UP. Their car made a U-turn at the U-turn slot in front of gate 2.5, and they actually stopped in the middle of the road to cheer on the rallyistas. Of course, all the news crew went rushing to the side of the car. Obviously, traffic ensued.

We left at 7pm cos we wanted to catch the replay of American Idol. Haha! Kidding. My little brother was with us, too, and he was pretty tired so we decided to go.

They say there's going to be a concert near gate 2.5 on Monday. 4pm, I think. Too bad I have a friggin theo oral exam the next day. :(
